Sanctuary being remodeled

María Argeny Zuluaga and Todd Hunter wed

Good Samaritan family portrait at Easter, 2003

Sanctuary being remodeled

Our sanctuary (the space around and behind the altar) is undergoing some modest æsthetic changes. The current door to the sacristy (the room where the vestments and altar items are kept, and where the priest and ministers get ready for the service) will be closed in, and a new door installed just around the corner in the short wall to the right of the altar. This will allow the priest and ministers to go between the sacristy and the sanctuary without exposing the congregation to a jarring view "backstage" each time.

The wall behind the altar has already been changed from its previous patterned blue finish to a soothing antique white stucco treatment, matching the finish in the rest of the Main Building (which has also been updated).

For more information on the remodeling, contact Father Warnky or Junior Warden Kelly Moore.
